Childrens Ceiling Fans

Just the other day, my son was giving me a hard time about our collection of Wizard Of Oz memorabilia.  That was until I reminded him of his extensive collection of Thomas the Tank Engine items.  Not only does he have and unending supply of track and every available train, he also has a complete Thomas the Train bedroom including the bedding, border, curtains and Thomas the Tank Engine Ceiling Fan.  Needless to say, he soon realized that our collection wasn’t as absurd as he had initially thought.

My sister was so excited when she found out  she was having a baby.  When I asked her about the nursery decor, there was absolutely no hesitation in her voice:  the baby was going to have a Winnie The Pooh Nursery.  Being her sister (and the baby’s Aunt), I wanted to find a truly unique gift for the nursery.  Something that no one else would have thought of.  I decided to purchase a Pooh ceiling fan for the room.  Boy, am I ever glad that I did!!  Not only does it match the rooms decor perfectly, my new niece just loves to lay in the crib and watch it turn around. 

My neighbor has been talking about decorating her daughter’s bedroom for the past month.  So, now that it is finally complete, she invited me over to see it.  I will agree the transformation from a guest/junk room to an absolutely adorable little girl’s Strawberry Shortcake bedroom is a HUGE success!  I think what really made the room complete was her attention to details.  This sweet character appears in all the right places - even on the Strawberry Shortcake ceiling fan allowing her to achieve that pulled together look that usually only highly paid designers achieve.  What a lucky little girl!  I must say - the inner child in me was extremely jealous.  

There’s no doubt about it - Hasbro hit it big with the Littlest Pet Shop characters and playsets.  Those cute little critters have wiggled their way into the hearts of every little girl.  And now she can surround herself with all of the new Littlest Pet Shop room decor available in stores.  But here’s a real find:  a custom made Littlest Pet Shop ceiling fan!  This cute fan has been designed to coordinate with the licensed Littlest Pet Shop bedding and border and is the perfect way to finish off the room.  Best of all - they have made it very affordable so you won’t break the bank with this purchase.   

We took our son to see Star Wars The Clone Wars last week as an end-of-the-summer treat and he just loved it.  As a matter of fact, he is so crazy about it, that I have decided to update his Thomas the Train bedroom to a Star Wars themed bedroom.  I’m sure you parents out there know what a daunting task decorating a bedroom can be and the endless hours that can be spent looking for just the right decor.  Well, I must say, I found this wonderful ceiling fan rather easily.  I will admit, it was the last thing I expected to find, but it is going to be the perfect finishing touch to our Star Wars Bedroom.  Many thanks to O-YouKid.com for thinking of the unexpected and for keeping it in a price range that I can afford. 

Okay, so the new Batman movie came out recently and everyone is pretty jazzed about it.  I would have taken Bobby to see it, but I heard that it had more adult themes and violence in it.  So he had to sit this one out.  And you know what; I think I have found my super hero.

Bobby walked into my room today and saw my new Batman ceiling fan.  He pointed out that I made fun of his Spiderman obsession.  Pretty sharp kid, don’t you think?

My kid is obsessed with Spiderman.  Honestly, I don’t get it.  When I was a kid, Spiderman was considered one of the lesser super heroes, but now, kids are going nuts over this non-caped crusader. 

So he wants everything that dons the Spiderman image.  He has the lunch pale, the notebook, the backpack, the t-shirts, and now he has his prize possession, his Spiderman ceiling fan.  I don’t get it, but it makes him happy so I’m all for it.

As most parents know, mobiles are great.  That is, until Baby becomes mobile; then it is considered a safety hazard and has to be removed.  You are then left with a crying baby and no focal point to lull your little angel to sleep.  As a Mother of two myself, I went through the same thing.  That is, until we installed this wonderfully colorful Winnie the Pooh ceiling fan.  At bedtime, I simply turn the lights down low (allowing just enough light so my little one can see the design) and turn the fan on it’s lowest setting. It works like a charm!!  Best of all, it’s not only a wonderfully creative focal point for our child, it also helps us lower our heating and cooling costs too!!   

I recently purchased a Princess Ceiling Fan for my daughter’s room; however, when it arrived, my son was so jealous, I had to purchase a fan for him too.  After much deliberation, he chose the Batman Ceiling Fan.  I must say, the people at O-YouKid.com really got it right:  both fans match my kids’ room decor perfectly!

I have to admit, I did look at the Disney Princess Ceiling Fan manufactured by Disney but opted to buy this one instead for several reasons.  First of all, although the “Disney” fan is cute, it is rather expensive and doesn’t offer the versatility that this fan does.  This fan  design not only matches the Disney Princess wallpaper border in my daughter’s room perfectly,  it also offers me versatility at an affordable price.  When my daughter outgrows her princess theme bedroom, I can either turn the blades over to reveal a plain white blade or I can return the blades to O-YouKid.com, choose a new design and have them redesigned.   Wow - You sure can’t beat that!
